The Oleificio Val d’Orcia has been producing high quality Italian extra-virgin olive oil from olives grown by their members in the Val d’Orcia area using state-of-the-art equipment for more than fifty years: emerald green in colour with golden highlights and a good fruity aroma, the oil produced is slightly bitter with a spicy taste with echoes of fresh olives and an artichoke and cardoon aftertaste.
The Oleificio Val d’Orcia, located in the heart of the valley with the same name on the slopes of Monte Amiata, is surrounded by one of the most charming and characteristic landscapes in Italy, marked by rows of cypress trees and undulating groves of silvery olive trees: UNESCO included the entire area in their list of World Heritage Sites to be protected and safeguarded.
